Our first event for 2012 is to have an exhibition at our Club rooms during the TADOMS 'Old Machinery Expo' which is being help over the weekend 3rd & 4th March 2012. Their theme this year is Everything British. For more details see the TADOMS website at www.tadoms.com.au

There is a small entry fee into the TADOMS exhibition, but once in the exhibition, entry to our display is free.

Craft Market and Open Day. We are trying a new venue for this event, and are holding this event at the RSL Sub-Branch over the long weekend in May, the 5 - 7 May 2012. This event will showcase all our wonderful work, which will be on sale.

Carnival of Flowers 2012 will again be held in September 2012. We will have an exhibition at the Toowoomba RSL Sub-Branch, from Sat 22nd September to Thu 27th September 2012. This is a wonderful venue, with enough room to fully display all our members wonderful creations, and provide space for members to demonstrate our crafts.

Workshops are held regularly with professional tutors when requested. Non-members are welcome to attend workshops.

For cost and other enquiries concerning workshops contact Roslyn Dwyer, phone 0438 910 262.

Community  involvement is an important part of the Group’s activities  and displays. Demonstrations are given during such events as Carnival of Flowers. The group provides handmade articles to Red Cross and other similar groups.

Members volunteer at Meals on Wheels; small functions are held to raise funds for Cancer and Leukaemia Research, the Toowoomba Hospice and other charities.
